One attendance has now led to thirty and have catapulted me into attending other exciting events throughout the city. It only took one to get me hooked, and now I am excited to share these experiences with you and finally bring you into the home of my obsessions with all things talk shows and pop culture events!
Since moving to NYC 3 years ago, I have eagerly stood in lines for over 30 talks show tapings, along with a variety of smaller pop culture based events throughout the city just to get that Instagram moment :) Kidding!!! (Sort of)... More so because going to these experiences has become my outlet during my crazy work week to have a little excitement and insight into the entertainment world that I desire to be a part of. Why should you care? Well, over time I've learned the tricks of the trade to have nothing but the best time at these experiences and want to share them with you so you are able to have just as much fun as I do and get a little look into how I make the most of each event! Also, New York is expensive enough as it is, and most of us can't nor want to be breaking the bank to meet our favorite actor or singer, Which has been a big drive for me in finding such events. I've begun to curate a plethora of outlets that allow me to get the inside scoop and ticket advantages that many people may not know about, without thoroughly surfing the web and realistically, who has time for that? I come baring gifts of advice, stories, tidbits, and adventures to those who want a one stop shop. And on top of all of that, I hope to share experiences of not only excitement, but of confidence. The majority of these events I have gone to alone because there wasn’t always someone to go with and if I had waited for someone to accompany me, I probably wouldn’t have gone to half of the shows I’ve attended. Forcing myself to go with no one in tow has truly pushed me out of my comfort zone and brought out a confidence in me I didn’t know I had. I hope people like me who want to go but don't always have someone to go with read these experiences and push themselves to take a chance on the unknown. I promise you can have fun by yourself - It's all what you make of it!
